Single Mother In Shah Alam Gets 'Attacked' By Her Daughter's Babysitter

[Video] Single Mother In Shah Alam Gets 'Attacked' By Her Daughter's Babysitter, Their Heated Argument Goes Viral

MALAYSIAN DIGEST

One thing that some people still don't understand is that whatever you post on the internet, stays on the Internet. And sometimes what you post on your social media can come back and haunt you, and bring humiliation for yourself.
That is exactly what happened to Rabiah Mohd Salleh, 30, after a video of an argument involving her and a husband and wife couple went viral on Facebook.
The argument started when Rabiah posted on Facebook a few pictures of bruises and scratch marks on her children, and she said on her Facebook that she was angry at the babysitter because she failed to take care of her child.
The status upload by Rabiah started to go viral, and this angered the babysitter and her husband.
So they decided to go and confront Rabiah at her home, which led to the viral video.
In the video, they were arguing back and forth about the status upload, which the babysitter claimed to embarass and humiliate her.
Luckily, the confrontation ended without any physical violence.
And now, the case has been settled with the help of PERKISMA, a non governmental organisation (NGO).
PERKISMA arranged for a meeting between all quarters involved in the issue, and the issue was settled amicably.
However, Rabiah has told mStar that although all misunderstandings have been cleared, she is still planning to pursue legal action against the babysitter and her husband, for humiliating her with the video.
"After they found out that I was going to sue them, they told their friends to go home cause they want to settle things amicably.
"But I am humiliated by what happened. Everyone knows who I am now. So I am proceeding with legal action," said Rabiah.
Rabiah also told mStar that the only reason she decided to post that much disputed Facebook Status was because the babysitter was telling people about her failed marriage.
The aggrieved woman has also made a police report over the incident after the video showing the couple verbally attacking her went viral.
Whatever it is, this incident should serve as a reminder to always mind our words over the internet, cause it might offend others.
