Mah Sing Group is rocking up the beat this Deepavali as the group’s light-hearted Dee-Pun-Vali video hits 720,000 views.

The video has surpassed 720,000 views on Mah Sing’s Facebook and YouTube pages, and garnered about 3,300 reactions and likes as well as around 1,800 shares on Facebook.
The video continues to gain views because of its creative effort to showcase the lighter side of the Indian culture by pitting Team Mah Sing against local comedians Prakash Daniel and Harvinth Skin in a ‘bad-jokes’ battle.

“We are extremely happy to see our ‘Dee-Pun-Vali’ video turn into such a hit with the public,” said Mah Sing Group managing director Tan Sri Datuk Sri Leong Hoy Kum.

We wanted to inject humour into this festive season and our video managed to achieve this.
I hope all Malaysians watch this video and spread the laughter this Deepavali.

From all of us at Mah Sing, we would like to wish all Hindus and Sikhs Happy Deepavali!”
There were many positive comments about the witty video on Mah Sing’s Facebook page.
“This is good… Well done. True Malaysia spirit. Let’s celebrate together. Happy Deepavali,” posted Retnes Thiagarajah.

“So proud of Mah Sing to actually make the effort to do something significant for Diwali,” commented Andrew Clement Gomez.

“My two favourite bands; Dey (Def) Leppard and Linggam (Linkin) Park. Epic! Happy Deepavali to all,” added Rosli Abdul Rahim.
