KLANG: Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos is ready to face action over his plan to set up a fish stall at Padang Timur in Petaling Jaya at the same time as Pakatan Harapan's rally at the venue.

"I take the warning from the police positively because it is their responsibility to safeguard public order and safety and they are just doing their job.

"But I am also doing my part here offering fish at cheaper prices," said the Sungai Besar Umno division chief at a similar fish stall in Kampung Meru on Saturday (Oct 14).

Jamal's supporters set up two booths along the main road here, with scores of people gathering from as early as 8am to buy seafood produce..

had warned Jamal against interfering with the rally.

Saturday's "Love Malaysia, End Kleptocracy" rally is organised by Pakatan Harapan and expected to kick off at 4pm despite police warning organisers not to hold the gathering at Padang Timur.

Jamal is expected to start operating his fish stall there at 3pm.
