JOHOR BARU: A teenager was attacked by a group of men after he reprimanded two of the suspects for playing loud music at a flat block in Bandar Seri Alam here on Thursday (Oct 19).  
Seri Alam OCPD Supt Jokhiri Aziz said some of the 15 men were armed with knives and parang.  
In the 2.05am incident at Jalan Tasek 64, the 17-year-old victim had reproached the two men over the loud music that was playing from the car speaker.  
"Both suspects and the victim then got into a small argument before a group of men arrived in a car and several motorcycles at the scene," he said in a statement on Friday.  
Supt Jokhiri said the victim suffered serious injury and was sent to Sultan Ismail Hospital for treatment.  
So far, no arrests have been made and police are on the hunt for the suspects.  
The case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons and Section 326 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt using dangerous weapons.
