Honda owners can replace airbag inflators at Petronas stations

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd is collaborating with Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB) to provide further convenience for its customers to replace Takata front airbag inflators.
In a statement on Thursday, Honda Malaysia said owners of affected airbag inflators could replace them at selected Petronas stations.
It said the replacements activities could also be done at Mobile Hub in shopping malls and all 84 Honda authorised services centres.
“The affected customers are strongly encouraged to make an appointment at any authorised Honda service centre or selected Petronas stations to avoid any delays or setback,” it said.
Honda Malaysia said the replacement activities at the Mobile Hub outlets in shopping malls and outdoor events nationwide, Honda Family Road Trips, did not require advance appointment.
