Hong Kong artiste Andy Lau has suffered a serious injury after falling off a horse in Thailand

Hong Kong artiste Andy Lau has suffered a serious injury after falling off a horse in Thailand on Jan 17.
Hong Kong’s Apple Daily reported that Lau was filming a commercial at Khao Lak, three hours outside of Bangkok.
On site sources said the actor had lost control of his horse, and was thrown from it. The horse also trod on the 55-year-old actor’s waist after the fall, causing an injury which has reportedly rendered him unable to move.
Apple Daily also reported that Lau was first treated at a Thai hospital before flying back to Hong Kong on a medical plane for further treatment.
Lau’s most recent film is The Great Wall, directed by Zhang Yimou and co-starring Hollywood stars Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal and Willem Dafoe.
UPDATE:
