Boxing Day Premier League Round Up: Chelsea extended their incredible winning run to 12 as City, United, Arsenal also win

Chelsea extended their incredible winning run to 12 with a convincing victory over Bournemouth,  thanks to an Eden Hazard goal sandwiched between a Pedro brace. Manchester United and City completed easy wins while Arsenal had to wait for an 87th minute Olivier Giroud goal to secure full points.

After exerting early pressure on the away side, Chelsea found a deserved breakthrough in the 24th minute through Pedro. The former Barcelona man curled the ball into the top corner with a brilliant shot from 18 yards. In the second half, Hazard doubled Chelsea's lead from a spot kick and Pedro completed his brace through a deflected shot to give the leaders a comfortable 3-0 win.
After losing their previous two games, Arsenal were made to work hard for three points as West Brom made it tough for the London club at the Emirates. It took some excellent saves from West Brom keeper Ben Foster and the upright to keep Arsenal at bay. Sanchez had the best chances for the home side, but it was Frenchman Giroud who headed in a Mesut Ozil cross, three minutes from time, to give the Gunners full points for the first time since Dec 10.



Manchester United continued their good run that has seen them win four Premier League games in a row, with a convincing 3-1 win over Sunderlandin Old Trafford. Sunderland had the better of United in the first half, creating openings on the counter, but it was United who took the lead through Daley BlindZlatan Ibrahimovic doubled United's lead in the second half  beforeHenrikh Mkhitaryan marked his return to the team with a backheel, over his shoulder goal. Fabio Borini scored a consolation goal for the Black Cats.



Manchester City kept their recent revival going with a 3-0 win over Hull City. Hull frustrated the Citizens in the first half, but a Yaya Toure penalty in the 72nd minute opened the floodgates as Kelechi Iheanacho and an unfortunate Curtis Davies own goal took City to second on the table, seven points behind Chelsea.
