The Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Festive Buffet with BBQ by The Terrace at Lemon Garden Cafe is from 6 June to 5 July 2016. It’s priced at RM168 nett (adult)/RM84 nett (child) from Sunday to Friday, and RM188 nett (adult)/RM 94 nett (child) on Saturday's.
The Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur Festive Buffet can only be described as a huge feast.
As you enter the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, you will be greeted by the soothing music of a Gamelan troupe. The Shangri-la has a majestic huge lobby that few hotels that can rival.
Diners will be spoilt for choice with the wide array of traditional Malay, Chinese, Indian, Western, Italian and Japanese dishes that are available. Diners also get to feast on a barbecue at the terrace section of the Cafe
The Cold Appetiser Station must be one of the best in town. Some of the cold appetisers available include the Ketam Goreng Berempah (Deepfried crabs with spices), Sotong Kangkung, Bergedil Daging and Umai Ikan Merah (Spicy raw fish salad).

As usual the whole roast lamb section is the highlight of any Ramadhan Buka Puasa buffet. The Spiced Roasted Lamb served here with briyani rice was really full of flavour and roasted to perfection. The Meat still moist and succulent.

The Malay and Indian Station was simply awesome. All the dishes in this section were great. Our reviewers had a great time at these two station. There was a "mini lobster dish" that was simply amazing.

Other Malay dishes that were available included Ikan Singgang Pedas dengan Keladi (Spicy and sour fish stew with Thai basil and yam), Kambing Masak Kuzi (Lamb cooked with tomato cashewnut gravy), Daging Batang Pinang Masak Hitam (Braised beef with spices and dark soya sauce), Gulai Itik Serati (Mild duck curry with coconut, turmeric and lemon grass) and Bubur Lambok (porridge with meat, seafood and spices).
The Indian Station has some good dishes too, the chicken tandoori was moist and tasty.

The Tiger Prawns Sambal dish was easily one of our favourites. Other dishes included Ekor Asam Pedas (braised oxtail in sour and spicy gravy), Kari Udang (Tiger prawn curry with mango), Laksa Utara and festive specials of Lemang Pulut and Ketupat Palas, with beef, chicken or fish serunding.
