Johor Ruler chides Ikhlas president for questioning vape ban

MUAR: Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has chided Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs Alliance of Malaysia (Ikhlas) president Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah for questioning his decision to ban the sale of vape products in the state.
"To those who wish to challenge my decision, especially the Ikhlas president who claimed that he has collected one million names and signatures, where are the names which has been collected?
"I have not seen even a single name yet. Remember, don't endanger the health of others just to reap profits.
"Before deciding on banning vape, I have listened to many experts, and clearly the use of vape can be more harmful to humans," Sultan Ibrahim was quoted by Bernama as saying after opening the 60th state-level Quran Reciting Competition at Dataran Tanjung Emas Wednesday.
The NGO is suing the Health Ministry director-general, Inspector-General of Police and two others over enforcement against vape traders.
